The Gala

As early as 1948, when the Monegasque Red Cross was created, the principle of organising shows for its benefit was adopted. In 1957, the gala takes on its final form: it takes place in August in the Salle des Etoiles of the Monte Carlo Sporting Club and features one or several performers. The master of ceremonies is another performer, just as notorious.

2024, The Monaco Red Cross Gala is one of the most prestigious events in the Principality of Monaco. H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco will be presiding at this event and Jamiroquai will give an incredible concert at Salle des Étoiles on July 19.

In 2021, the Monaco Red Cross reinvented itself with a unique formula. H.S.H. Prince Albert II was keen to host a key social event with the spotlight on generosity in the Casino Square.

On 18^th July 2022, the Monaco Red Cross once again hosted its annual gala in the Casino Square. Guests were invited to enjoy dinner on the Casino terraces before attending a concert by Alicia Keys.

Reviving the tradition, on 29^th July 2023 the Monao Red Cross returned to the Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Monte Carlo to celebrate its 74^th Gala with guest star Robbie Williams.

Over the past 30 years, CRM has assembled a collection of exceptional works of art including unique pieces created by world renowned artists, specially donated for the annual gala and which illustrates CRM’s values. While some are on display at CRM’s head office, part of the collection has been transferred for a temporary exhibition at the headquarters of the International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC) following a framework agreement jointly signed by CRM and IFRC.

Since 1948, many artists have performed on the stage of the Salle des Etoiles for the Gala of the Monegasque Red Cross. Every year there is a lottery drawing with prestigious prices to liven up the gala.

Since 1989, famous works of art are offered on the evening of the Red Cross Gala. Among the artists we can name :
