75th Monaco Red Cross Gala

Published on 23.07.2024

On Friday 19th July 2024, in the presence of T.S.H. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, accompanied by Ms Camille Gottlieb, Head of the CRM’s Youth Section, 800 guests, members of high society, but also philanthropists and celebrities, gathered in the legendary Salle des Etoiles at the Sporting Monte Carlo for this unique event.

To open the evening, masters of ceremony, Belgian TV host Tatiana Silva and vert skater champion Taïg Khris, reminded the attendees of  the purpose of this charity event, which is to support the humanitarian actions implemented by the Red Cross, before launching a film focusing on the highlights of all gala events from 1948 to the present day.

The prestigious evening was punctuated by music, fireworks and a raffle for the benefit of the Monaco Red Cross offering six prestigious prizes including a first prize, an “Alhambra Vintage necklace” donated by Van Cleef & Arpels.

Just after midnight, the British pop group Jamiroquai, which was selected to pay tribute to the organisation’s benefactors, set the stage on fire with a rendition of its greatest hits.

This year, the Belgian artist Wim Delvoye, was keen to pay homage to the founder of the Red Cross Movement, Henry Dunant, by reproducing a bust using his own artistic style and codes, with the sculpture Ball Track (Dunant), which he donated on this occasion.

The Monaco Red Cross is delighted with the success of the evening and would like to thank all the players involved in the event, as well as the following partners for their generosity:  Maison Van Cleef & Arpels, Maison Audemars Piguet, Maison Dior, Silversea Cruises, boutique Sabrina Monte Carlo, Julies Baer Bank of Monaco.

A gala of generosity which raises funds every year so that local social activities and international emergency actions can continue.
