The generous gesture of the Société Générale Private Banking towards the Monaco Red Cross

A desire to offer clients a charity-based banking product… A fine example of strong collective commitment at this time of health and social crisis!
On 11th April 2019, the Société Générale Private Banking Monaco announced the establishment of a partnership with the Monaco Red Cross based on the implementation of a structured product (the first to be offered by a private bank) with a charity component resulting in a donation of at least 50,000 Euros by the Société Générale to the Monaco Red Cross.
The first tranche in the amount of 50,000 Euros was presented to the Monaco Red Cross in May 2019.
On Tuesday 26th January, the Société Générale was able to hand over to the Monaco Red Cross a further cheque amounting to 32,460.94 Euros due to favourable market conditions enabling early redemption of the structured product.
The presentation took place at the headquarters of the Monaco Red Cross in the presence of:
- On behalf of the Monaco Red Cross: Frédéric Platini, Secretary General, Danielle Cottalorda, Member of the Board and Communications Manager, and Yann Bertrand, Executive Director and Liaison Officer for the Treasurer General.
- On behalf of Société Générale Private Banking Monaco: Nicolas Feit: Director General, Jérôme Brousseau, Director Corporate & Institutional Clients, Aurélie Lombardo: Structured Products Manager, Héloïse Tassone: Wealth Management Solutions Director, Elisabeth Pelletan: Director of Communications.
This generous donation, amounting to a total of 82,460 Euros will be used by the Monaco Red Cross to carry out its various social and solidarity-based operations in Monaco.
