The Government of Monaco and the Monaco Red Cross join forces to combat Covid-19.

Monaco, 19th March 2021 – This week, Frédéric Platini, Secretary General of the Monaco Red Cross, Didier Gamerdinger, Minister of Social Affairs and Health and Georges Marsan, the Mayor of Monaco, jointly announced at the Covid19 vaccination centre at the Grimaldi Forum and the Espace Léo Ferré in Monaco, this partnership which consists in distributing white and red surgical masks provided by the Monaco Red Cross at the two national centres.
Resulting from a generous donation, close to 100,000 surgical masks have already been distributed at the Covid19 vaccination centre at the Grimaldi Forum, the National Test Centre at the Espace Léo Ferré, as well as various associations in the Principality.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the Government of Monaco and the Monaco Red Cross have continued to pursue their joint efforts, especially as far as prevention is concerned. This donation of masks highlights the importance of always remembering to use basic protective measures to protect yourself and those around you from Covid-19.
