Our Missions

The Monaco Red Cross works for youth, international solidarity, health, and emergency relief. It supports vulnerable people with material and social assistance, assists children and seniors, and promotes volunteerism as a driving force for commitment and progress.

Youth

Supporting young people lies at the heart of the Monaco Red Cross’s mission. Engaging the Principality’s youth around the values of the Red Cross is essential to ensuring the continuity of our work.

International

Since it was founded in 1948, the Monaco Red Cross has earned international recognition for its commitment to supporting vulnerable people around the world, providing emergency assistance during humanitarian crises and implementing development programmes.

Health

The Monaco Red Cross contributes to improving health, preventing disease and alleviating suffering through training and support programmes that serve the community and are tailored to local needs and conditions.

Community Emergency Response

Community emergency response plays a key role within the Monaco Red Cross.  With nearly 150 active volunteers and 9 staff members, the service focuses on three main areas: : planned emergency response measures, first aid training, and preparedness and response in crisis situations.

Social Solidarity

The Monaco Red Cross supports close to 600 households in the Principality and surrounding areas. It provides both ongoing and emergency assistance through a team of experienced social workers. By offering practical help and active listening, the organisation fosters social inclusion among those it supports.

Early Years and Later Life

The Monaco Red Cross supports all generations. From an early age, it raises awareness, offers training, encouragement, and support to promote the healthy development and fulfilment of the youngest members of society.
