Patient support services
The Patient Support Services Section of the Monaco Red Cross provides ongoing care, with particular attention given to unwell residents in long-term care.
Magazines and books are distributed during much-appreciated weekly visits.
A library of 4,000 books is open every afternoon, offering titles in several languages. Volunteers also visit Cap-Fleuri and the geronto-psychiatry wards, running a variety of activities such as games and discussion groups.
They are also involved in charitable efforts, including sending toys and clothing to sick children abroad.
