Monaco, 16 September 2025 : With the Monaco Red Cross, H.S.H. Princess Charlene, visited today five young mothers and their newborns at the maternity ward of the Princess Grace Hospital Center (CHPG).
A time that the Princess took to exchange with the families, give them comfort and offer thoughtful gifts to both parents and newborns.
Through this visit, Princess Charlene shows the importance given to the family as an institution in the heart of our society, and its overall contribution.
As Vice President of the Monaco Red Cross, the Princess has initiated with the support of the Monaco Red Cross and the CHPG the infant and young child first training workshop which took place today in her presence. This workshop aims at raising awareness among families about the essential actions to be taken in an emergency event and strengthening prevention and safety of young children.
These workshops which foster teamwork, communication, and a positive, supportive learning environment will soon be available to parents from the very first moments of a child’s life.
H.S.H. Princess Charlene, together with the Monaco Red Cross and the CHPG, reaffirm the necessary strong commitment to prevention, training, and family support — at the heart of the Principality’s humanitarian mission.
