On Friday, 10th October 2025, Ms Mirjana Spoljaric, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (ICRC), accompanied by Mr Olivier Ray, Director of MMP (Mobilisation, Movement and Partnerships), and Ms Clare Cameron, Chief of Staff to the President, paid an official visit to Monaco.
She was received at the Prince’s Palace for an audience with H.S.H. Prince Albert II, President of the Monaco Red Cross.
H.S.H. Prince Albert II and Ms Mirjana Spoljaric then visited the headquarters of the Monaco Red Cross, where they were welcomed by Mr Frédéric Platini, Secretary General, together with staff members of CRM, for a working meeting.
Discussions focused on the financial and human resources support provided by CRM, as well as on the many international projects currently under way or in preparation.
In the afternoon, the visit continued with a meeting bringing together members of the Government of Monaco and the Monaco Red Cross, who in these challenging times are providing joint support to the ICRC in full respect of International Humanitarian Law (IHL).
