Solidarity at the French/Italian border

Living conditions for migrants at the French–Italian border are often extremely precarious. Many face a lack of adequate shelter, limited access to drinking water, food and healthcare, and heightened exposure to harsh weather and insecurity.

In this context, we work alongside local partners to assess needs and deliver appropriate humanitarian aid — including protection, medical care, food distribution and clothing. In France, particular attention is given to unaccompanied migrant minors. We provide support to several shelters in the region, including homes for young boys and dedicated facilities for young women who are alone, pregnant or accompanied by small children.
